The Challenge

What We Faced

The Black Entrepreneurs Empowerment Initiative faced significant challenges in transforming informal businesses into compliant, competitive enterprises. Most participants were operating without proper registration, financial systems, or B-BBEE documentation, severely limiting their ability to tender for government or corporate contracts. Key challenges included: lack of business registration and CIPC compliance, absence of proper financial systems and accounting, no B-BBEE certification limiting corporate opportunities, limited access to funding and supplier networks, and insufficient knowledge of legal requirements and compliance frameworks.

How We Solved It

We developed a comprehensive Business Empowerment Ecosystem through integrated support from NEGOCIUM (strategy), GOLDEN (talent), and CODEXIA (technology):

**Phase 1: Foundation & Registration**
